It is a fact that the media industry is changing, and it needs to change to meet the changing needs of the readers. Readers want excellent content, but they want it now, not 3 months later. And there are plenty of excellent writers out there writing the content for online media. "Everybody is a reporter," is becoming the new norm, I'm sorry to say. Magazines can't just sit around and think that their quality content is going to get readers attention. Not so, anymore. People don't take the time to sit and read articles as they are bombarded on all fronts by news, news, news. Whatever grabs their attention, draws them in, and gives them the bottom line in 1 or 2 paragraphs is what the "new" audience wants. (Gold Printing)
