IPC manufacturing director Jasper Scott said that Wyndeham is acquisition of Southernprint in July last year had made it "the deserved frontrunner" to win the tender.
Wyndeham Press Group has won IPC Media is print tender for the bulk of its Southbank and Inspire titles, picking up 45 monthly and weekly magazines at the expense of rival web offset printer St Ives.
Wyndeham has retained all 23 titles currently printed at Southernprint and picked up an additional 22 titles in the tender.
Meredith said: "I am delighted at this early point in my new role that we have been able to complete this tender process and award the business to Wyndeham, which offers a strong and thoroughly modern portfolio of print solutions that best suits our titles moving forward."
Following completion of the current contract on 1 July, St Ives will no longer print any titles for IPC.(Gold Printing China) |
